Mystery Writers of America have announced this years nominees for the fantastic Edgar A. Poe Award. I’m familiar with Lehane, Mosley, Atkins, and maybe a few more, but their recent books haven’t been read by me. There was a time, long long ago, when I had read everything nominated, and if I hadn’t, I would in prep for the award ceremony. Not remotely possible now, lol. I’d need access to all of the books, and that’s not happening. Congrats to all who are nominated. I’ll try to write another article about my experiences in regards to the nominations, and banquet before they are awarded in early May.
