Hurricane Damaged Libraries Need Help For Their Childrens Section

On one of my weird road trips I had the privilege of visiting the little town of Wells in the NY Adirondack mountains. So it’s disturbing to find out how much damage has been done to their library and the entire picture book collection for children. They are asking for monetary donations to replace the titles, or you may purchase a book from the local independent bookstore as a donation. They aren’t asking for physical books to be sent at this time-the library is damaged and needs repair–therefore no space for books. But they can later purchase books with monetary donations and collect the titles bought by the public for the library.

Here’s all the flood damage info, and details of how the public can help.
