I was just at ABE books looking for a particular old children’s book, and happened across this subject. I haven’t posted any of these for a long time, so I thought I’d just throw it up, for the heck of it. One novel that deserves to be on the list–Pest Control, one of the funniest books ever. I couldn’t abide A Confederacy of Dunces, but naturally it’s on the list.
I guess I’ll need to brush up on my laughter by reading the books listed here.

I feel the same about Confederacy, not funny at all, in fact boring!
What is Pest Control about?
I’m a fan of ‘Pest Control’ too. I’m always trying to foist it on people who ask for recommendations. I’m surprised no one’s made it into a movie.
The article mentioned that the book type is related with Pest Control. Hopefully the book will be funny also as mentioned. Happy writing and carry on.
Nancy -and anyone else who happens by– Pest Control is about a bug guy who answers a job ad for an exterminator and finds himself working as an assassin. It’s got a huge quirk factor.
I havent read any of those books…. I guess I should brush up on my laughter too 😉
