OK! I've finally broken down and decided to get some DJ protectors. I go to Brodart's site and they have 20 styles to choose from.

Which is best for a general, all purpose protector that would fit assorted sizes of DJ's

Any and all answers appreciated unless it just confuses me more...

Hi Paul,

I use two rolls. The 12.5 inch gets used the most. I also keep a 18 inch roll for coffee tabled sized art books.
One thing is the thickness. I don't remember the exact number bit I recently bought a thicker roll (3mm?) it was harder to work with - so if you have a choice between thicknesses go for thinner.

I used Gaylord library supplies and bought a pack of archival jacket covers. It was nice because it had a variety of sizes, sort of like a sample pack. I don't cover a whole lot of books so I didn't know which sizes I'd use the most. This was a good solution for me. It's been a while though and now I can't remember the thickness or qty. that I bought. Ahhh, another middle-age muddle.
