I admit that my interest in his books stemmed from seeing the movie preview of The Golden Compass. I didn't have a chance to watch the film but I did finish the 3 books from his dark materials. And I love all the characters and the plots. I didn't hear a very good review of the film but i'll make my opinion about it when it becomes available for rent. Thanks for sharing the interview. =)
