Memes (pronounced like beams) are simply ideas. Of course if you or I come up with what we think is a brilliant idea we have no idea how it may be used by others. This is one of a large series of video presentations at TED Talks. If you’ve not yet checked these out you should. While not directly related to book selling they are about opening one’s mind and that’s a large part of what we do (I hope). Here’s the talk by Dr. Dennet.
